14.3.2022
Since the beginning of the COVID-19 crisis, the safety of the members of the ESSEC community has been our number one priority. Despite the unprecedented nature of the situation, we have ensured the continuity of our activities. ESSEC continues to constantly adapt its response to the Covid-19 epidemic, in accordance with authorities’ recommendations.
On our campuses in France (Cergy and La Défense):
As announced by Prime Minister Jean Castex on Thursday, March 3rd, wearing masks is no longer mandatory indoors as of Monday, March 14th, 2022, except on public transportation and in healthcare facilities.
Consequently, wearing a mask is no longer mandatory on our Cergy and La Défense campuses. However, it is still recommended for at-risk contact cases, those with cold symptoms, and health professionals. Members of the ESSEC community who wish to continue wearing masks may do so.
In addition, it is recommended to continue to use measures to prevent the risk of Covid-19, such as regular hand washing, disinfecting surfaces, and regular ventilation of the premises.
Isolation rules:
In case of a positive test, the duration of isolation depends on your vaccination status. The rules of isolation remain the following:
1. People with a complete vaccination schedule (i.e., with a booster or initial vaccination cycle completed less than 7 months ago)
If you have a complete vaccination schedule with a booster completed in accordance with the vaccine pass requirements, i.e., you have had your booster or, if you have not had your booster, your initial vaccination cycle was completed less than 7 months ago, you must:
- Isolate strictly immediately;
- Perform an antigen test after the date of onset of symptoms or the date of the positive test if you do not have symptoms:
2. Unvaccinated or incomplete vaccination
If you are not vaccinated or have an incomplete vaccination schedule (as defined by the vaccine pass), you should:
- isolate yourself immediately;
- perform an antigen test or an RT-PCR test on the 7th day after the date of onset of symptoms or the date the positive test if you have no symptoms:
Close contacts:
If you are declared a contact case, the rules also differ depending on your vaccination status. On our ESSEC Asia-Pacific Campus in Singapore:
From March 21, 2022, we can have full capacity in all our classrooms. Safe distancing is encouraged but not mandatory between individuals or groups in all mask-on settings.
On our ESSEC Africa campus in Rabat, Morocco:
We recommend that all students who have to join the ESSEC Africa Campus from a country other than Morocco, to check the conditions of access to Morocco from their country of origin.
