ESSEC at the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Atlanta

This August, ESSEC Participated in the Academy of Management Annual Meeting in Atlanta. 

From August 4-8, 2017, the Academy of Management (AOM) hosted their Annual Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia. With its 9,000 participants from 85 countries, the AOM Annual Meeting is the main gathering for management academia, bringing more than 10,000 students, academics, scholars, and professionals in the scholarly management and organization space. This year, ESSEC Business School was one of 48 universities represented.

ESSEC Management Department faculty who attended included Fabrice Cavarretta,  Arijit Chatterjee, Ha Hoang, Srividya Jandhyala, Jan Lepoutre, Julija Mell, Anca Metiu, Elisa Operti, Anne-Claire Pache, Felix Papier, Aarti Ramaswami, Karoline Strauss, and Maciej Workiewicz.

As always, the AOM Annual Meeting was also an important networking opportunity, especially for ESSEC’s PhD candidates: Donoxti Baylon, Maïlys George, Amit Kumar, Shemuel Lampronti, Archita Sarmah, and Zoe Ziani-Franclet.

Students and faculty addressed issues like political ideology and organizations, income inequality, and diversity and inclusion.

In 2018, the event will take place in Chicago, and address the topic: Improving Health and Well-being in Society: How Can Organizations Help?
