The program performed well in most of the ranking’s criteria. The program is 4th in the world for the international course experience rank, based on teaching that is done outside of the business school’s location. It is 14th for both the ESG and carbon footprint ranks, a strategic priority for the school. In terms of career progression, three years after graduation alumni of the program earn an average salary of $251,620, a 70% increase over their pre-program salary.
Vincenzo Vinzi, Dean and President of ESSEC Business School, says: “The ESSEC & Mannheim program’s top 15 finish in the Financial Times EMBA ranking is a testament to our commitment to provide executives with a world-class education that prepares them for the opportunities and challenges of a global business environment. I would like to congratulate our program participants, alumni, faculty and staff on their outstanding contributions to this success.”
Jérôme Barthélemy, Dean of Executive Education added: “Since its inception in 2004, the ESSEC & Mannheim EMBA program has established itself as a program that is European in tradition but international in outlook. With the addition of the Asia-Pacific track in 2014, the international aspect of the program developed further. Today we see this strategy recognized through our excellent finish, particularly on the ranking’s international criteria.”
This modular executive program allows participants to develop a 360-degree view of business expertise across corporate functions, and to bolster leadership skills and create international exposure.
Program participants turn to the ESSEC & Mannheim EMBA for a range of reasons: to gain leadership skills, to develop business acumen, and overall, to be able to make big career changes. Take Indra Rudava, for example, an ESSEC & Mannheim EMBA class of 2020 alumna, who was promoted to Group Marketing Director at her company upon graduation. Indra, in large part, credits the promotion to her participation in the program, which she considers a “tremendous learning experience.” Or, consider David Rhodes, ESSEC & Mannheim EMBA class of 2019, who was able to become an independent CTO thanks to the insights and skills acquired through the program. One of the most valuable aspects of the program for David? Getting a holistic view of what it means to run a business.
