Mannheim Business Angels network announces partnership with ESSEC Ventures at a Paris/CNIT Event

Mannheim Business Angels network e.V. and ESSEC Ventures jointly held an event on the evening of April 18 at CNIT, La Defense in Paris, announcing a collaborative partnership between the two organizations.  Over 35 people attended the presentations, among them angels, ESSEC Ventures staff, entrepreneurs as well as Essec/Mannheim business school students.   

Julien Morel, Executive Director of ESSEC Ventures, presented the audience with a brief recap, history and overall investment strategies of the Paris-based French incubator and Venture-capital investor. Alexander Ernst, President of the Mannheim, Germany-based Business Angels network also presented the networks activities and involvement in the angel-based investing landscape.

The participants also enjoyed short presentations from two, up-and-coming startups: 1) Mobyneo, a Paris-based platform that provides businesses with  whole-encompassing travel-expense savings services, and 2) Cariboo – also a Paris-based travel platform which connects international travelers with local guides.
