Recently, as part of their ongoing “Toward Responsible Innovation” project, the Global MBA cohort, a group of eager students from ESSEC Business School, had the privilege of hosting Aurélie Esteva-Conrozier, Head of Sustainable Development at Compagnie du Mont Blanc (CMB).
CMB, the custodian of Mont Blanc and its surrounding regions, has been a staple in the Alpine landscape for decades. But now, they're taking bold steps to ensure their presence leaves a positive impact on this breathtaking environment. Aurélie, as a passionate representative of CMB, was able to set the tone for their consulting project, aimed at helping CMB achieve their sustainability goals. She not only introduced them to the company and its values but also encouraged them to embrace the project with an open mind.
She guided them through the dos and don'ts, emphasizing the significance of sustainability. Her insights on what works and what doesn't in the context of preserving the environment were invaluable. Participants were also reminded that their ideas should align with not only CMB's goals but also the larger goal of protecting this beautiful natural heritage.
The brainstorming session was where the magic happened. They explored ideas, debated their feasibility, and mapped out a blueprint for our consulting project. They were encouraged to think creatively while keeping the realities of the mountain environment in mind.
