ESSEC Business School just launched its Global BBA program in Mauritius this Monday, September 12th. Future students are to be welcomed as of September 2017.
In 2016, ESSEC Business School will take a new step towards its ESSEC 3i strategic plan (for innovation, implication and internationalization) and a great achievement in its history. After Singapore and Morocco, the ESSEC Global BBA will now expands its footprint in Mauritius and open the program up to students from countries in the Indian Ocean region and from the African continent at large.
It’s in the prestigious setting of the Labourdonnais Hotel in Port-Louis that the launch event of ESSEC’s Global BBA program took place, with the collaboration of the Médine group. Interventions from different stakeholders of this project happened, among which Thierry Sauzier, Deputy CEO & Managing Director Property; Mrs Leela-Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, Minister of Education; Jean-Michel Blanquer, Dean and President, ESSEC Business School; Martine Bronner, Dean, ESSEC Asia-Pacific and finally Cedomir Nestorovic, Professor, ESSEC Asia-Pacific, presenting « How crucial is the position of Africa within Asian Strategy »

Mrs Leela-Devi Dookun-Luchoomun, Minister of Education of Mauritius, asked the private sector to get involved in education and deal with the challenges which are "huge but not insurmountable".
Mr. Cedomir Nestorovic’s presentation showed clearly the interest to set foot in Africa and particularly in Mauritius, which is to be considered as a hub between Africa and Asia, as Singapore is for Asia and Pacific area.
