Masterclass on Advances in Data Science by Prof. Ashwin Malshe at IIT-BHU Varanasi

Prof. Ashwin Malshe, Assistant Professor of Marketing at ESSEC Business School, recently led a Masterclass on Advances in Data Science at IIT-BHU Varanasi in India.

During the session, Prof. Malshe spoke about how Data Science is an overlap between Computer Science, Statistics and Domain Expertise, and shared interesting applications of Data Science in domains such as Fashion and Makeup.

Following this, Prof. Malshe addressed the topics of Big Data, Reinforcement Learning, and the concept of Bayesian Statistics.

As a conclusion, Prof. Malshe spoke about the future of Data Science, including trends such as the Automation of Data Science and Computer Vision.
