Organized by Le Cercle des économistes, the Economic Society of Singapore, ESSEC Business School, and Paris EUROPLACE, the first edition of Les Rencontres Économiques in Singapore, Singapore-France Economic Forum will be held at ESSEC Asia-Pacific on Thursday, 24 and Friday, 25 November 2016. We are honored to welcome Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Singapore Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic and Social Policies, as the Guest-of-Honor for this inaugural Forum.
Inspired by Les Rencontres Économiques d’Aix-en-Provence in France, a must-attend economic event, Les Rencontres Économiques in Singapore aims at gathering business leaders, academics, institutions, policy makers, think tanks, and students from Asia and Europe, around the theme "Europe and the Asian Century: Keys for the World Economy". Through a free and open debate, new ideas will emerge on key issues such as innovation, monetary policies, economic growth, investment, finance or regional integration.
