Studying abroad
International experience and openness to the world begins in the classroom. Whether you are in initial or continuing education, on the Paris-Cergy, Paris-La Défense, Rabat or Singapore campus, ESSEC Business School offers you a multitude of opportunities to broaden your horizons and open yourself up to the world. This can be for a short period of time with study trips, semesters or internships abroad, as well as for longer periods, with double degrees for example.
Depending on the program in which you are enrolled, students can spend all or part of their studies on one of its four campuses spanning three continents. This is a unique opportunity to experience a country, a culture and to join a program focusing on the specifics of doing business in the region in question.

Over the past 30 years, ESSEC has developed a network of academic partnerships throughout the world, with 210 partners in 45 countries on five continents. These partnerships open the doors to numerous double degree programs for the Master in Management program and 10 for the Global BBA. The oldest of these double degrees dates back to 1992 and was signed with the University of Mannheim in Germany. It later led to the development of the ESSEC-Mannheim Executive MBA

All of ESSEC's long initial training programs (Global BBA, Master in Management) and short MBA and Advanced Masters programs include study trips abroad. Over a short period of time, you will discover and immerse yourself in a country, its local businesses, and its culture.
In addition to academic international experiences, ESSEC offers its students the opportunity to benefit from a professional experience abroad, where students can witness cultural differences and different work practices from a different perspective. We strongly encourage all our students to seize this opportunity and go on an international internship. This is the chance for you to acquire academic skills and apply them in a professional environment abroad. In order to help students find international opportunities, our Career Services organizes Working Abroad Weeks dedicated to a specific country or region of the world. The goal? To offer a range of professional opportunities to students interested in working abroad.
In 2021, ESSEC Business School successfully renewed its ERASMUS Charter for Higher Education from 2021 to 2027. This confirms the school's commitment to the fundamental European principles. In its internationalization strategy, ESSEC relies on ERASMUS + as the number one partner for its European mobility and collaborative projects. With the accreditation of the new charter, ESSEC is strengthening its skills development program, particularly in terms of intra-European student mobility (internships, studies) and training mobility for staff and professors.
