On the 28th & 29th of June this year, the Goldman Sachs: 10,000 Small Businesses program powered by Goldman Sachs in partnership with ESSEC, carried out its first cohort’s graduation ceremony at ESSEC’s Cergy campus. Revisit the highlights of this special event.
The Goldman Sachs: 10,000 Small Businesses program is renowned for its continued support to VSE/SMEs in the United States and the United Kingdom; for over 10 years, Small businesses have been able to thrive and reach their full potential thanks to this executive program. In collaboration with ESSEC Business School, the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program arrived in France in 2020.
The 69 participants that were part of this closing event presented their company growth strategies to academic experts from ESSEC, as well as professional leaders from Goldman Sachs. Dynamism, know-how and determination are a few words that represent the VSEs and SMEs that are part of this year’s cohort.
To end this enriching ceremony, guest speakers Pierre Hudry, Head of Paris office at Goldman Sachs, and Vincenzo Vinci, Dean and President of ESSEC Business School, talked to the audience about the program and its objectives, as well as it is the first time the program is carried out in France, and then proceeded to conclude with an acknowledgment of the strong team spirit that the class developed despite the sanitary crisis, and congratulated the audience for their commitment to the program.
An evening rich in arguments and in sharing, bringing the program’s community closer. Congratulations to the first-ever French cohort!
