On 5 March 2018, the Financial Times published its first top MBAs for women ranking, where ESSEC’s Global MBA has been ranked #28 worldwide.

The new ranking released by the Financial Times ranks business schools according to their outcomes for women, taking into account factors such as alumnae salaries three years after graduation, gender balance among students and faculty, the extent to which female graduates say they achieved their goals, as well as the average female graduate salary as a proportion of the average male salary after three years in the workplace.

To Prof. Aarti Ramaswami, Academic Director of the Global MBA, “Most organizations will agree that in a marketplace facing growing complexity, disruption, ever-increasing global connectedness, leading and managing successfully requires that we bring diverse perspectives to the business and people challenges at hand. This view makes sense not only for organizations but also for business schools and business education itself. Building the strategic advantage of diversity for organizations starts way before women enter those organizations. In view of these evolutions, we take an active role in fostering diversity and inclusion as part of the culture of the Global MBA.”

“The multitude of perspectives and diversity, not just in terms of culture but also in gender and nationality, truly enriches the experience I've had at ESSEC Business School.  It creates a platform to prepare me for future situations I may face in the global workplace of today, and illustrates that times are indeed changing.” - Araceli McAdam, Strategy & Management Major, Global MBA

“I'm aware of how rare it is to be part of a Global MBA with over 50% female participation and am inspired by the stories of successful women in business that we have had the privilege of meeting.” - Erin Thibodeau, Luxury Brand Management Major, Global MBA

The Global MBA is a 12-month full-time MBA program delivered across ESSEC’s campuses in France and Singapore, offering six majors: Strategy & Management, Digital Business, Enterprise Innovation, Finance, Luxury Brand Management and Hospitality Management.
