The ecological transition is without doubt one of the biggest challenges of the century. It is disrupting and accelerating the transformation of organizations. At the heart of this crucial issue, new professions and new forms of leadership must be invented, starting today.
The Chair’s ambition is to nurture versatile talents specialized in the ecological transition, who are highly employable and who can become leaders capable of having a positive impact on any type of organization.
The Chair’s objectives: to equip students with the knowledge they need to fully comprehend the complexity of the challenges of transition; to develop a systemic vision for developing ecological transition strategies; and to inspire creativity and embody the solutions of tomorrow.

Academic courses coupled with professional experience: internship or apprenticeship lasting at least three months, field trips, seminar weekends, etc. The Chair has built an ecosystem of partnerships with varied and complementary players in the ecological transition: major groups such as Capgemini Invent, the SNCF and BNP Paribas; institutional players and climate pioneers such as Citepa and the Association for a Low Carbon Strategy (ABC); players with strong local roots such as the Communauté d'Agglomération de Cergy-Pontoise (CACP), as well as partners with unrivalled expertise in the pedagogy of transition, such as CY Cergy Paris Université and the Campus de la Transition. A key role at the heart of academic research to study the processes of ecological transition in business organizations and in the interplay among the various stakeholders in society.
The Chair prepares its students for the following professions
Consultants in new “sustainability” practices of major consulting firms, or in new consulting firms specializing in the ecological transition.
CSR and Sustainable Development managers in large groups, SMEs and scale-ups.
Project managers on environmental projects (e.g. responsible tech, ecological events, etc.).
Management roles in associative, public or semi-public environments focusing on the issues of transition
The Chair is also involved in training:
